Awesome! I think, I'm the only person in the world that didn't know Blur made a new song in 2012. I just found out in NME who voted "Under the Westway" the 3rd best track of the year. Needless to say, I don't know #2 and #1 either. I'm out of touch with what's happening in pop music even more than before, as I'm starting to feel older or as I'm growing old(?). Saying that I'm already talking about the song which reflect just this feeling of losing touch somehow with the world that has changed so much in the last decades (or feels like it has - compared to say the 90's). That makes it quite a good reunion song for Blur, I think, who haven't had a song since 2003 (that's a time before Facebook). Surely, it does sound a bit like they're covering their old song and put new lyrics on it. But then, honestly, what else can you do, if you try to be your old band again, when you've been a lot of other great bands in the meantime?
It is still Blur and it is still good.
